Captain Marvel is arguably the most powerful hero in the MCU, so naturally, everyone wanted to see her take on Thanos. In Infinity War, it's frustrating that no one was really able to gain the upper hand against him until the end., particularly that Thanos is unbearably smug throughout the entire film, even when he has a massive axe buried in his chest.

However, in Endgame, that all changed when Captain Marvel joins the battlefield with a literal bang.

To start, she obliterates Thanos’ ship single-handedly. When the portal back in time is destroyed, she proceeds to take on the Mad Titan himself. Although the person who has the satisfaction of taking him out is ultimately Tony, she certainly manages to throw in some devastating punches. We can practically see Thanos' shrinking confidence, not to mention that his shocked reaction to this struggle is absolutely priceless.
