In Martin Scorsese's remake of Internal Affairs, no one can be trusted. There's so much deception and double-crossing going on that at some points during the movie, it's difficult to remember just who you're supposed to be rooting for in this whole bloody mess.

And thenLeonardo DiCaprio gets shot in the face while trying to arrest Matt Damon for being amob informant, and you're like, "Oh right. It'sDamonwho's the total piece of s--t in this movie. Thanks for clearing that up, random police officer who put a bullet through DiCaprio's brain bucket whoalsohappens to be a mole for the mob."

Every moment after that scene in the elevator is about hoping that all of the worst things happen to Damon's character. But by the end of the movie, it looks like he's somehow managed to get away with everything - including the murder of that same police officer who splattered Leo's mind box across the walls of the elevator -scot-free.

That is, right until he walks into his apartment to find Marky "Don't Call Me Marky Mark" Mark Wahlberg standing in his living room, wearing a tracksuit and pointing a gun at his face.Just as Damon opens his mouth to say something that will surely make us hate him even more, he gets a bullet between the eyes.
