If there's any villain death in recent history that can stack up against the spectacular and rewardingfall Hans Gruber takes from the top of Nakatomi Tower at the end of Die Hard, it'sIvan Korshunov getting kicked out of a plane at the end of Air Force One.

Played by theking of entertaining bad guys, Gary Oldman, the Russian loyalist spends every moment leading up to this one getting you to ball up your fist and air-punch his smug, morally reprehensible face into oblivion. In a movie that otherwise borders on tedium, Oldman deftly manages to make any rational viewer's blood boil.

Harrison Ford, on the other hand, maintains a calm, executive aura even as all of the worst things that can happen on a plane do, in fact, happen on his plane. It's almost disconcerting. But during his big fight scene with Oldman, flashes of Indiana and Han show up, making it all the more gratifying when he strangles the bad guy with a nylon strap before kicking himinto the night sky.
