What's this? Another woman deceiving Batman? There seems to be a running theme in these Batman movies. Take note, villains of Gotham.

In The Dark Knight Rises, Bruce Wayne is still reeling from the horrific death of his childhood friend, Rachel Dawes. He is a shell of himself and spends his days haunting the hallways of his mansion like Caspar The Clinically Depressed Ghost until the attractive, supportive and smart Wayne Enterprise executive Miranda Tate enters the frame and encourages Bruce to carry on his father's charitable work.

Despite her continuously quoting Batman's old master and nemesis Ra's al Ghul, Bruce is smitten by the young lady and his emotional internal damage begins to lift. Until of course she causes him some real internal damage by plunging a dagger into him during his stand off with Bane and confesses to being the daughter of Ra's.

A bigger betrayal however, is that Christopher Nolan didn't decide to reshoot Miranda's death scene which Marion Cotillard herself was not too impressed by.
