10 Most Stupid Characters In Classic Horror Movies

3. Prometheus - Millburn

Tucker And Dale Vs Evil
20th Century Studios

2012's Prometheus may not have lived up to the hype surrounding it, but it did manage to deliver a creepy movie in the Alien franchise. The film follows a crew who arrive on a planet in search of the Engineers, but instead of finding civilisation, they stumble upon a derelict spacecraft and a temple.

Inside the temple and ship, they find numerous strange artefacts, the disembodied head of an Engineer, and a few Engineers on ice. Going back to the strange artefacts, one of the crewmen, a biologist by the name Millburn, does some of the stupidest things in the history of horror.

He comes face to face with a creature that is a precursor to the facehuggers. Of course, the audience knows this while Millburn doesn't. Still, he doesn't treat this strange and unusual snake-like creature in the manner a biologist might. Instead, he is fascinated and enthralled by it.

The critter displays what any normal person might see as threatening behaviour, but Millburn dives in, trying to make contact. For his trouble, it wraps around his arm, sprays acid when it's cut, and ultimately, crawls down his throat, killing him.
