10 Most Unconvincing Action Stars Of All Time

3. Steven Seagal - Anything Since Half Past Dead

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ypMTI6FwCUU Steven Seagal's last movie in which he was the main star to ever be released in cinemas was 2002's Half Past Dead, a terrible film that made it abundantly clear that the man's star was fading. In the decade since, beyond a kitschy appearance in Robert Rodriguez's Machete, the actor has been sidelined to mind-numbing straight-to-video fare, in which he employs stunt doubles to perform most of the fight scenes, and the occasional reaction shots of himself are edited in to dupe stupid people into believing that he can still go. If the fact that he's now extremely bloated isn't indication enough, this guy is no longer the lean fighting machine that he was during the Under Siege days; the years have not been kind to him. It all reached its apex in 2008 with the release of Kill Switch, one of the worst straight-to-video movies I have ever seen, and also the worst that Seagal has been in to date. If the atrocious editing raises a smile, we're left bewildered at why Seagal's character sounds like a black man, and just how horribly out of shape he looks here. Tragic.
