4. Pamela Anderson - Barb Wire
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H6XIREQHU8M Barb Wire was to be Pamela Anderson's breakthrough from Baywatch to the movies, with the script being adapted from Chris Warner's famed comic book series. Anderson plays the titular character, a feisty bounty hunter who specialises in going undercover as various sexy hookers and strippers. It's a ridiculously sexist concept, and aside from the obvious titilatory quality of Anderson's presence, there's really nothing to take away from this film other than some casual arousal. Anderson spent most of her Baywatch screen time in slow motion for a reason; her line readings here are dire, and she gets a surprising amount of them for a film that seems to focus so much on how much - or rather, how little - she's wearing from scene to scene. The action is stilted and dull, clearly pared down for Anderson, who despite her apparent fitness, doesn't seem to be that much of a physical specimen here. What a let down; this could have been a fun, silly B-movie.
