5. Tina Williams & Sam Loomis - Halloween 5: The Revenge Of Michael Myers

Despite being an absolutely brilliant character in Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers, Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers went and killed off Rachel Carruthers and replaced her with her best pal, Tina Williams.

Tina was now in the big sister role for young Jamie Lloyd - as in, the niece of Michael - but she was just forever an annoyance. From the moment we're introduced to her and she does some awful song and dance, to her skipping out on Jamie to be with her greaser A-hole boyfriend, to later leaving the truly traumatised Jamie when she needs her most, to pulling a fake Michael prank on two armed cops who are on high alert... yeah, Tina is just so hard to get behind. Even when she essentially sacrifices herself to save Jamie, you're just not bothered in the slightest.

Now, while this entry was to be all about Tina, a recent Halloween 5 rewatch means Dr. Samuel Loomis can't not be featured here, too. Donald Pleasence's franchise favourite has always been an intense, erratic character dating back to his appearance in John Carpenter's 1978 Halloween, but The Revenge of Michael Myers just goes a little too far with Loomis.

Here, Loomis spends the movie pretty much bullying a bunch of kids, uses Jamie as bait to draw out Michael, locks the poor kid in the infamous Myers House, breaks a police radio to stop any outside contract, and literally goades the Shape to play the 'game' of "catch the little girl".

Not cool, Sam. So, so not cool.
