There are very few actors out there who have portrayed such a wide range of iconic characters on the big screen as Sir Anthony Hopkins. The sophisticated but utterly psychopathic Hannibal Lecter in the Silence of the Lambs series, the lonely portrayal of former American President Richard Nixon, the honourable, battle-scarred Norse ruler of Asgard Odin in Thor, the inimitable British film director Alfred Hitchcock in Hitchcock and the legendary Danish King Hrothgar in Beowolf. Truly a diverse and incredibly versatile range of roles, performed by a brilliant, brilliant actor.
