Rogerrabbit2 Let's take a break from sci-fi for a moment to look at another decades-old property fans have been begging to see a sequel to: Robert Zemeckis' innovative 1988 comedy, Who Framed Roger Rabbit. After it received critical and financial success, work quickly began on a sequel. It's been in the works since its release, and last year Zemeckis claimed that it was still a possibility. Rumors of Zemeckis resorting to motion-capture technology utterly derail any excitement that a sequel could have garnered. The charm and brilliance of the original is it's blend of live action and hand-drawn animation, and if the follow-up isn't made the same way, it will completely disregard what made Roger Rabbit so special in the first place.
