10 Movie Actors Who Did Career WORST Performances In 2020

7. Kelsey Grammer - Money Plane

Kelsey Grammer has a lifetime's worth of goodwill for his legendary performance as Frasier Crane, though in recent years has taken supporting roles in a number of schlock-heavy action films, most memorably The Expendables 3 and Transformers: Age of Extinction.

But given that both of those gigs likely paid princely sums to have Grammer's gravelly voice ripping through their nonsense dialogue, his true career nadir came this year when he appeared in the comically low-budget straight-to-VOD actioner Money Plane.

Grammer plays the part of the ridiculously-named villain Darius Emmanuel Grouch III, who prefers to be known as "The Rumble." Grammer spends the bulk of his time in the movie sat in a chair monologuing, and it's about as blatant as paycheck roles come.

While this likely didn't pay Grammer that much, given that it probably only took a weekend out of his schedule at most, it's easy to see how it worked out well for him.

Though Grammer deserves a small measure of credit for getting through a one-liner about a guy banging an alligator with a straight face (below), it's also the most cynical and lazy performance of his entire career.
