There are obviously a number of actors who boldly claim to do all of their own stunts. However, for the most part, this consists of the odd fist fight and a few crash mat landings.

Tom Cruise, on the other hand, has seemingly made it his mission to throw his body into some of the most ridiculously dangerous situations imaginable. Despite the fact that a star of his value could likely get away with letting a stunt double do most of the heavy lifting.

Determined to deliver as authentic a cinematic spectacle as humanly possible, though, the Mission: Impossible legend has legitimately performed helicopter chases, hung on the side of a plane and even scaled the tallest building on the planet throughout the course of his one-of-a-kind movie career.

At almost 60 years-old, you'd probably expect Cruise to start taking his foot off the gas over the next few years, right? Well, with the star now officially heading into space for a project with Doug Liman in 2021, it looks like the actor still has plenty of jaw-dropping antics left in the tank.
