10 Movie Bands We Really Wish Were Real

Angsty high school bands are nothing particularly new within the realms of music and cinema. But only A.D.D from light-hearted comedy romp The Rocker can claim to have a drumming superstar on their side.

Once a member of glam metal band Vesuvius (another band who could have qualified for this list), Robert “Fish” Fisherman (Rainn Wilson) is abandoned by his bandmates just before they make it big.

Fast-forward twenty years and Fish finds himself with one more chance at success when he agrees to play drums in his nephew’s (Josh Gad) band. And when an embarrassing video turns the group into a viral sensation, A.D.D become a musical phenomenon.

With fellow bandmates including Emma Stone as bassist Amelia and the incredibly talented Teddy Geiger as vocalist Curtis fronting the ensemble, there’s already enough of a reason to want this band to exist. But their songs are the biggest reason of all.

Written, produced, and performed by Chad Fischer of Lazlo Bane (the group responsible for the theme song to Scrubs), joyous anthems “Bitter”, “Tomorrow Never Comes”, and “Great Escape” are just the sort of tracks that need to be turned up loud on every road trip.
