10 Movie Biopics That Desperately Need To Happen
2. Stan Lee
Fantasy Casting: Bryan Cranston
Considering the box office records the MCU seems to smash every few months, Stan Lee has a good shout at being one of modern cinemas most influential figures. Creative, inspirational and beloved by all who knew him, Stan Lee is the perfect candidate for a biopic to warm the soul.
While Stan Lee’s best known for the creation of characters like the Fantastic Four and Tony Stark, the whole film wouldn’t just be him hunched over papers in the office.
Hugely progressive for his time, he was very concerned that black children and poor children didn’t have role models, and so created Black Panther and Spider-Man.
There’s personal tragedy in Stan’s past too. His second child died just three days after birth, and he was heartbroken by the death of his wife from a stroke. His final years are marred by allegations he was the victim of elder abuse too.
Although Bryan Cranston is best known for the villainous Walter White, a good chunk of his career has been in comedy, most notably with Malcolm In The Middle. He already has the look down, he’s equally earned his nice guy reputation and has great range; he’s surely the perfect pick.
