10 Movie Cameos Actors Hated
7. Freddie Prinze Jr. - Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker features vocal cameos from a bevy of Star Wars actors for the climactic sequence where the voices of various Jedi call out to an injured Rey (Daisy Ridley).
Among them was Freddie Prinze Jr., who reprised the role of fan favourite character Kanan Jarrus from the animated series Star Wars Rebels.
However, given that Kanan died in a season four episode of Rebels aired almost two years before The Rise of Skywalker's release, Prinze had to have his arm twisted to lend his voice to the scene at all.
In a recent appearance on The Big Thing podcast, Prinze mentioned that he didn't want to portray Kanan in any Star Wars media following his demise on Rebels, feeling that any appearance after the character's death would "dilute his impact."
Speaking specifically about The Rise of Skywalker, he said:
"Yeah, I didn't want to do that either. I was asked as a favor and I feel like all their favors are used up now."
Prinze went on to confirm that he won't be appearing in the soon-to-release Ahsoka series, and save for a dumptruck's worth of cash being loaded onto his lawn, he's most likely done with Kanan for good.
