4. Trevor Slattery/The Mandarin - Thor: The Dark World

All Hail The King is the greatest of all the Marvel One Shot short films.

Included in the 2014 home-media release of Thor: The Dark World, fans were given a glimpse at the fate of the Mandarin pretender and toast of Croydon, Trevor Slattery.

After being imprisoned at the end of Iron Man 3, Trevor adjusted quite quickly to life behind bars and is seen to be living relatively comfortably.

Subject to interview for a documentary about his life, Trevor appears to be in his element, suffering no real comeuppance for his actions. Until the last day of filming that is.

Like something out of a Bond film, the interviewer pulls a gun out of a camera and uses it, taking out all the guards in the room. Trevor is shocked to learn there is a real Mandarin, and he is not happy with Trevor making him look like a joke to the rest of the world. The interviewer has been sent to retrieve Trevor, so he may be brought before The Mandarin and witness his displeasure.

But the One Shot ends there. Whilst Trevor is presumably abducted by his interviewer and taken to meet the real Mandarin, his eventual fate is yet to be revealed.

Although we imagine it might not have been a very pleasant one.

Still, it's a great DVD extra that has a double-bonus of revealing there is a genuine Mandarin in the MCU after all.
