6. Marybeth Louise Hutchinson (The Faculty)
Mary-Beth was a new student at Harrington High School, having just moved from Atlanta, Georgia. She was a seemingly loving and kind-hearted girl who attempted to befriend self-styled outcast Stokely "Stokes" Mitchell and appeared to develop a crush on Zeke - a drug-dealing student who is having to repeat his final year. When an apparent new species of cephalopod is discovered on the school field, it coincides with the school's teachers becoming increasingly violent and strange in their behaviour and it soon becomes apparent that the creature that was discovered is a parasitic alien that takes over human bodies. More and more people become infected by the parasite and the students find themselves in grave danger. Having discovered that one of Zeke's drugs will kill the alien, the teens decide to take the drug to determine who is infected and who isn't. Marybeth fakes taking the drug which results in everyone believing she is human. However, it turns out that she is in fact the queen of this alien species and has come to Earth to take over it, because her planet is dying.
