10 Movie Characters Who Returned Way More Badass In Sequels

8. Lucy Pevensie - The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Voyage Of The Dawn Treader

In the Narnia films, youngest girl Lucy basically goes full Neville Longbottom. After being a slightly naive passenger in the first movie and doing very little in the second film - mostly because she's so young and the idea of her fighting in actual wars is more perverse than badgers doing it, apparently.

But then something changes by the time The Voyage Of The Dawn Treader followed Prince Caspian into cinemas. She's no longer the soft-around-the-edges child who stands back from the action: she's now a real-life tail-kicking pirate-fighter who appears adept at hand-to-hand combat.

Perhaps it's because Dawn Treader sees Lucy come of age more in the absence of her elder sister, Susan, but she's a far different prospect to what she was in the first two films.
