1. Alfred Pennyworth (Michael Caine) - Batman Begins
I know, two Batman characters... but I feel like with such a character the one thing I would have liked to have seen was Nolan explore Alfred's past a bit. We know he raised Bruce, that he's a skilled medic (if not full-blown surgeon) because he is constantly healing Batman after his numerous brawls, and he's obviously a trained butler. Since we're just talking about the movies, we get the hint that he's business-savvy (he inherited Bruce's billions after he was declared dead for seven years), was in the army, worked for the government in Burma, but that's about it. What did he do before he worked for the Wayne's? It's subtly hinted he knows more than your average butler... I'm missing a ton, I know. Let me know who should have been included below!
