10 Movie Deaths That Were Supposed To Be WAY Better
8. Corvus Glaive - Avengers: Infinity War
Corvus Glaive (Michael Shaw) is a member of Thanos' (Josh Brolin) Black Order, and in Avengers: Infinity War's climactic Wakanda battle gets the upper hand over Steve Rogers (Chris Evans), very nearly killing him.
However, Vision (Paul Bettany) makes the trusty save by stabbing Glaive through the chest with his own bladed weapon, killing him - at least until he re-appears as part of Thanos' 2014 army in Avengers: Endgame.
But the MCU's epic Infinity Saga box set included an alternate and way more badass death scene for Glaive, who in an earlier version of the scene appears to end up fighting Vision in the New York Sanctum Sanctorum.
As Glaive attempts to take the Mind Stone from Vision's head, Vision manages to phase through him, reach his hands into Glaive's chest cavity, and rip out his heart. Metal as f**k.
Considering it's a much more satisfying end for Glaive and makes Vision look infinitely cooler, it's a mystery why it ultimately landed on the cutting room floor. Perhaps Kevin Feige or the Russos felt it was a tad too brutal for a "family-friendly" superhero movie.
