10 Movie Dogs We Wish We Could Own In Real Life

2. Slinky Dog From Toy Story (1995)

Tumblr Lzxb2xkb8s1qinmdwo1 400 Gif First appearing in Toy Story in 1995 Slinky Dog became one of the world's favourite dogs in one of the world's favourite trilogies. Although Slinky Dog was more of a background character in the first Toy Story film, he really came into his own in the second film when he and the rest of the gang tried to save Woody from the evil toy collector Al. Let's not beat around the bush here, who doesn't want a dog and a toy you can throw down the stairs all in one?

1. Toto From The Wizard Of Oz (1939)

Toto Oz Definitely one of the less attractive dogs in the glamorous world of movies but what list of dogs we'd like to own would be complete without Dorothy's furry friend, Toto. When Dorothy is told by the landowner of her Aunt and Uncle's farm that she must get rid of Toto because he is dangerous, Dorothy decides that the only solution is to run away with her beloved dog. However, they are both soon caught up in a tornado and when Dorothy awakes she finds that she is no longer in Kansas and must begin her adventure back home. Fun Fact: Sadly, the well loved 'good boy' Toto was actually played by a female dog and had her foot broken on the set of The Wizard of Oz. All very confusing. It was obviously very hard to choose just 10 dogs so if you think I missed any out or you just totally disagree with one of the furry faced canines I chose stick a comment in the box. After all, it's always fun to talk about dogs.
