8. Catwoman

Yes, Catwoman is the most laughably awful superhero movie in recent memory, but a cult audience embraces a film for the qualities that separate it from the herd, something the picture has an in abundance.

If you’re looking for camp, here’s a movie about a hero whose costume covers her face but leaves her midriff exposed, who dominates men with a whip (seriously, what’s with that?) and hisses at passing dogs. If you’re looking for corny, there are clunky one-liners (“What a purr-fect idea!”), an eye-rolling speech about how an Egyptian feline imbued Halle Berry with her powers and a plot about Sharon Stone controlling the world with a skin care product.

If you’re watching the movie for unintentional laughs, don’t miss the scene where, after being left for dead by Stone’s henchmen, Halle’s lifeless body washes up on land and is immediately set upon by some hilariously unconvincing CGI cats. The leader of which – get this – stands over her and reanimates her with its breath. Not since Freddy Krueger was resurrected by a dog’s urine have filmmakers dared to be so lazy, or taken their audiences to be so stupid.
