10 Movie Guys You Wouldn't Take Home To Meet Your Parents

7. Mark Zuckerberg - The Social Network

While the real life Mark Zuckerberg, the founder and CEO of Facebook, may very well be a nice guy, in David Fincher's 2010 film The Social Network he comes across as sort of a prick. Now, being a prick isn't necessarily a bad thing. It's guys like him who get things done in life, they build things and don€™t let anything get in their way. However, as far as romantic relationships go? Eh€it doesn't help. In the film, we open with Zuckerberg (played by Jesse Eisenberg) at a local pub with his girlfriend named Erica (played by Rooney Mara). At first everything seems to be going fine but within the time span of only a few minutes you can already see several negative traits of Zuckerberg€™s begin to seep out. Mark is, pretentious, jealous, capricious and he's demeaning without even knowing it. Erica suddenly realizes all of this and breaks up with him on the spot. This, of course, drives Mark to go and build a multi-billion company in the form of Facebook. So, by the end of the movie if Erica was to give Mark another chance, it would be understandable. Being a jerk is one thing, but being a billionaire jerk is quite another.
