8. The Kids Will Struggle To Reintegrate - The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe
The Happy Ending
After defeating the White Witch and leading Aslan's army to victory against seemingly insurmountable odds, the Pevensie children are crowned King Peter the Magnificent, Queen Susan the Gentle, King Edmund the Just, and Queen Lucy the Valiant.
They rule over Narnia for 15 glorious years at which point they accidentally stumble across the lamppost while chasing a white stag and end up back home, reverting back to the day they left. They're once more children and nobody has a beard anymore.
But Wait...
How the hell could anyone who has aged 15 years - the 15 most difficult formative years of anyone's life at that - go back to being a child and be absolutely fine with it. At the very least, the four children would be terribly maladjusted and unable to connect with anyone their age. They're now basically adults trapped in youth, with all of the experience and epiphanies involved but not the body.
And on top of that, they were literally kings and queens and they're going to have to go back to school and be forced to know their place. At best, they'll be deeply unhappy, but at worst, they'll end up being massive d*cks to everyone as the superior growing up they'd experienced has been robbed from them.
