2. Freddy Krueger
For those of you who know his backstory, I'm going to be straight with you. Realistically this slot could be nothing but several paragraphs worth of inappropriate jokes that could accompany the insinuation that all Freddy needed was "a hug". But I'll let you make them for yourself. All that really needs to be said is, I have a feeling pre-burned Freddy really loved hugs. In fact I'm sure he had plenty of them before he was killed. But the important question was, did he get them when he was a kid, during those key developmental years? Or was he a mistreated and abused child whose past came back to haunt his actions as an adult? Mmhmm. It's a touchy subject, so we'll leave it at this: Don't let your kids hug strangers in creepy sweaters. (Bill Cosby and Mr. Rogers excluded.)
