It seems that no matter how high your SFX budget, and how impressive and realistic your dinosaur creations are, it's no use expecting perfection when you have idiots in charge of spotting possible mistakes in your finished film.

During the scene in which portly deviant Dennis Nedry plots his escape from the island, with his stashed dino-embryos in tow, he is seen conversing with someone down on the docks, while simultaneously watching the live video feed of the docks.

Except the media player bar at the bottom of the window clearly reveals the live feed to be a video that Nedry has just played. All that money spent on making dinosaurs open doors, and that wasn't the stupidest mistake in the film.
