Before Jigsaw had even constructed his first Meccano set, Kathy Bates (Annie Wilkes) was already causing havoc in some snowy corner of Colorado. In what is otherwise a subtle movie full of suggested insanity, small displays of power and mounting tension, one scene breaks this trend as being not only greatly shocking but massively disgusting. Blagh!
