10 Movie Moments That Literally Made You Want To Puke
7. Crowning - Knocked Up
I was almost unable to watch the final 20-minutes of Judd Apatow's finest cinematic offering as I was on the verge of running to the Odeon's toilet to be sick (though in fairness the film is probably 20-minutes too long anyway...). The whole movie builds up to the birth of Ben Stone (Seth Rogan) and Alison Scott's (Katherine Heigl) accidental baby, so this truly vulgar moment comes right near the end when the little bundle of joy is born. Throughout the film, as we've come to expect from Apatow, the humour is fairly standard stoner-comedy fare, which is why this sudden, isolated gross-out moment is all the more shocking. In between shots of Alison screaming, the camera cuts to an extremely brief shot of the baby's head crowning (yes - actually coming out of Alison's vagina). This fleeting glance is all it takes, though. Something I've never seen in cinema before... and something I'm in no hurry to see again.
