10 Movie Moments That Terrified You As A Kid (But Are Laughable Now)

4. Judge Doom's Death - Who Framed Roger Rabbit

Christopher Lloyd perfectly portrays cartoon-hating madman Judge Doom in Who Framed Roger Rabbit, this is one movie that is so not made for kids, yet somehow marketed itself to them via the cartoon element. There are cartoon shoe murders and sexy cartoon ladies, but the real off-putting scene for kids was Judge Doom's reveal as a cartoon in the end of the movie. It's something about the bulging cartoon eyes against the realness of human flesh that's unsettling. He was no kids' friend back then because he was busy murdering your favorite cartoon characters. Now, he is definitely still weird and unsettling, but you can understand and appreciate the dark humour of the film, dead cartoon shoes and all.
