10 Movie Monsters All Played By The Same Actor

Remember when found footage horror movies were all the rage, though not all of them were very good? Well a little Spanish film called [REC] was one of the good ones, so good it was the start of an unlikely four-movie franchise that has had some wild ups and downs.

There's a lot to admire about this little Spanish horror that ended up doing a lot. The claustrophobia of its setting, the frantic pace at which it plays out, and that eye opening monster hiding in the attic. Arguably [REC] is the movie that thrust Javier Botet into the limelight. Though his screen time during it was limited to mere minutes, the image of his reveal will haunt you forever.

In a wholly unexpected reveal at the climax, the reporters trapped in the apartment block find themselves holding up in an attic of the penthouse apartment. However, the person who resided here has something nasty lurking in the attic, which turns out to be a woman who had been exhibiting signs of demonic possession ,Now she's free, she is hungry. Very hungry.

[REC] features one of the most terrifying endings to a modern horror movie, and a lot of that is thanks to Javier Botet. The new icon of horror.
