10 Movie Mysteries With Annoyingly Simple Answers

This entry is slightly different from the rest on the list as it was a mystery posed in the trailer of a movie rather than the movie itself. Naturally, trailers aren't supposed to give everything away, and aim to encourage potential audiences to go and see the film.

Often this is done with unanswered questions, usually purposefully, though not always. Sometimes, audiences can take certain things that aren't meant to mean much and make a big deal out of them. Hence why so many people were so perplexed as to why the Avengers: Infinity War trailer left out Clint Barton and Scott Lang entirely.

Almost every other hero was there, give or take a few, but the biggest names noticeably missing were Hawkeye and Ant-Man. Fans theorised as to what was going on and why they were kept out of the marketing altogether, with some surmising revelations about the characters not dissimilar to Clint's evolution into the Ronin in Endgame.

However, the answer to the question was so simple it was excruciating. Why weren't Hawkeye and Ant-Man in the trailer? Because they weren't in the movie. Simple as that.
