10 Movie Pairs You Definitely Don't Want To Mix Up

1. The Avengers

The Avengers Movie Few film fans in the UK would have been confused by the original title of Avengers Assemble, given how ridiculous the other Avengers film, which supposedly convinced the studio that audiences wouldn't grasp that the two were different, was. Starring Ralph Fiennes, Uma Thurman and Sean Connery €“ all of whom should have known an awful lot better €“ the first Avengers movie was an adaptation of the camp classic British TV show of the same name, and it was an unmitigated disaster. Hampered already by a poor script and poor creative decisions on every level, the film was destroyed further by Warner Bros decision to cut a major chunk out of the middle and to edit what remained so poorly that it was barely coherent. The Joss Whedon superhero ensemble on the other hand was tightly packaged, exceptionally written and perfectly balanced, and confusing the pair would lead to comical levels of disappointment. Handy Watching Tip If you're watching Sean Connery in a bad wig and even worse giant teddy bear outfit, rather than a rip-roaring comic book spectacle with altogether cooler outfits, you've picked the wrong DVD up again.
