2. Who Shot Nice Guy Eddie? - Reservoir Dogs (1992)
"Joe, you kill that man and you die next. I repeat: you kill that man and you die next." And so goes a line of dialogue uttered by Harvey Keitel's Mr. White in Quentin Tarantino's seminal debut flick
Reservoir Dogs, seconds before the film's climax pays off in a bloody Mexican stand-off between Joe Cabot, his son Eddie, and Mr. White. Thing is, nobody is pointing their gun at Nice Guy Eddie when everybody fires - a notion that perhaps goes unnoticed on the first viewing. But the man who shot Eddie is never revealed, leaving us with two options: Mr. White fired twice, or Steve Buscemi's Mr. Pink, who is currently off-screen, fired from his hiding place. Though this is perhaps Tarantino using a fair degree of artistic license, it remains a plot thread that is yet to be resolved.
