Not that I'm too fussed about twists in a film called Cowboys and Aliens, mind, but this isn't exactly something they needed to flirt with so blatantly in the trailer. There's a shot in most of the trailers where we see Wilde standing naked by a campire - a cynical attempt to put more butts in seats, no doubt - but it immediately set off alarm bells in my head, that she was probably going to end up having an extraterrestrial origin. Why else would a hot naked chick just be running around in the desert? Low and behold, I saw the film, and it turned out to be exactly as I had imagined. Anyone who paid even remotely close attention to the trailer - not very many, going by its paltry box office gross - could have guessed this one from the outset.
