10 Movie Post-Credit Scenes That Went Absolutely Nowhere

The Scene

At the end of Daredevil, the titular hero gets himself some sweet revenge on Colin Farrell's Bullseye for killing Elektra (at least temporarily) by making a sniper shoot him in the hands and then throwing him through a window and onto a car. He's severely injured, but not dead, remarkably.

The post-credits shows the aftermath, with him in a full body cast with his arms and legs pinned and only a couple of fingers free. There's a fly in his room, annoying him, so he moves to pick up a toothpick from the table next to him. The sound of the fly stops as we get a shot of his eyes looking supremely happy with himself.

What It Teased

That despite his hand injuries, Bullseye wasn't out of action entirely. He still had his magical aiming powers and would probably be back to fight another day, should a sequel happen, which was discussed both by producer Kevin Feige and Avi Arad.

But...

That sequel never came, even though Ben Affleck initially expressed interest in returning (and did briefly for the Elektra spin-off). It just wasn't financially viable and the critics weren't exactly quick with the praise.
