Released: Weekly at ModernMythMedia.com (frequently with multiple episodes a week) What makes Modern Myth Media special is their coverage of all-things superhero. Whether it be movies, television, or comics, the team at MMM are dedicated to discussing and debating the superhero genre at great length. They post at least an episode a week, and will get together to record emergency bonus episodes when exciting movie news breaks. The site was created by Sean Gerber and is hosted by a rotating group of friends (including What Culture writer Josh Costella) from both the United States and Australia. Each show is unique, focusing on a different topic pertaining to whatever superhero movie news broke that week. When a superhero film is released in theaters, they host a special round-table podcast featuring the whole team discussing the movie in great detail (the runtime for the Man of Steel episode is nearly 4 hours!) and release round-table discussions for older films throughout the year as well. They have mailbag episodes following Round Tables in order to answer fan questions, and occasionally feature interviews and discussions from the writers of other sites as well. The show has been going on since March of 2011 and has now reached over 130 episodes. It's my go-to podcast for superhero films and I can't recommend it enough.
