10 Movie Roles That Made Great Actors Look Like They'd Gone Insane

9. Roger Moore - Boat Trip (2001)

Roger Moore It's true that, for most actors, the good roles tend to dry up as you get older, when you're too wrinkly to appeal to the ladies, and men no longer fantasise about being your sidekick. Still, surely a former James Bond could have done without taking a role in the Godawful Cuba Gooding Jr. comedy Boat Trip, which is perhaps one of the worst movies ever made about people doing things on boats (and I'm taking Jaws 4: The Revenge into consideration). The plot of this movie is genuinely as follows: two down on their luck losers, played by Gooding Jr. and Horatio Sanz, end up getting booked onto a cruise, but wait - it's a gay cruise, and the pair begin to learn that all those stereotypes about gay people that they've been clinging onto for so many years aren't true at all. They made a movie with that plot. For real. There are also bits where the characters pretend to be gay to win girls. And Roger Moore is in it for a while, too. He's the guy fellating a sausage in that scene where that guy fellates a sausage.
