8. Fight Club (1998) - Destroy Something Beautiful
No matter what you think of 30 Seconds to Mars, watching Jared Leto get his face mashed to a pulp by Edward Nortons character is pretty hard going. The scene is made more powerful by the spectators starting the scene by egging the narrator on, but then looking harrowed by what they have just witnessed as Jared Letos face starts to become unrecognisable.
