10 Movie Scenes You Didn't Realise Were Tricking You

While it admittedly must have been tempting for the outstanding Edgar Wright to simply fall back on some digital assistance throughout the making of his recent slice of horrifying supernatural terror that was Last Night in Soho, the Cornetto Trilogy director instead decided to make things as authentic as possible when it came to a number of the visually mesmerising set-pieces seen in the flick.

A shot which sees Thomasin McKenzie's Ellie step back into the Swinging Sixties whilst simultaneously lining up with Anya Taylor-Joy in a mirror was actually as legit as it comes, with Wright using notable Harry Potter Fred & George Weasley actors, Oliver and James Phelps, on both sides of the mirror set to create the illusion of Ellie and Sandie being one and the same in this moment.

Along with this fantastic piece of cinema trickery, Thomasin and Anya also choreographed the dance scene with Matt Smith's Jack extensively to the point where the entire sequence was shot in one long steadicam sequence, with McKenzie admitting that it involved "a lot of ducking and jumping out," after spending weeks rehearsing the jazzy number involving the trio.
