It's pretty common for animated films to sneak in adult-themed gags that the kiddies won't have a chance of catching, and Shrek boasts an all-timer so outrageous you'll kick yourself for taking over 20 years to learn about it.

Beyond the evil Lord Farquaad's (John Lithgow) name being a not-so-subtle variation on "Lord F**kwad," things get far lewder when the Magic Mirror shows Princess Fiona (Cameron Diaz) to Farquaad.

Farquaad quickly expresses his joy at her visage, calling Fiona "perfect," at which moment his blanket moves on its own, the only explanation being that Farquaad, er, pitched a tent after seeing what Fiona looked like. Hilariously, he then coyly lifts the blanket up as if to conceal his modesty.

Still not convinced? Consider that when Farquaad orders the Mirror to show him Fiona, the Mirror scrunches its face up into a disgusted wince, seemingly well aware that Farquaad's about to get his jollies and, well, we know what probably happens in that room next...
