10 Movie Secrets Everyone Knows Except You

7. Ryan Reynolds' Own Gin Is Included As "Subtle Product Placement" - Free Guy

Free Guy is a movie packed to the gills with amusing Easter eggs and references to both video games and general pop-culture. Ryan Reynolds being the self-aware sort that he is, he of course couldn't resist including a shameless, cheap plug for his own wares.

When Guy (Reynolds) is walking down one of Free City's main streets, keep an eye on the right-hand side of the screen and you'll see a bottle of alcohol complete with the label "subtle product placement."

This liquid is actually Aviation Gin, which Reynolds acquired a stake in back in 2018 and has a habit of promoting in as many of his movies as humanly, legally possible.

To complete the joke, if you look really closely underneath the bottle, its attributes list a positive value for "mojo" and a negative value for integrity, which is certainly accurate.
