10 Movie Sequels Made Bad Through The Hero's Kid

6. Joaquin De La Vega - The Legend of Zorro

Zorro The Mask of Zorro was one of the most entertaining and charming action-adventure movies of its day. The fact that it got such an inane and far-fetched sequel still is enough to make one weep. Like we've seen countless times before, our once daring and swashbuckling hero is urged by his spouse to leave the dangerous lifestyle behind and settle down. But it seems that getting in trouble runs in the genes and of course, Zorro's restless son, little Joaquin de la Vega is up to no good while his parents try to lead a discreet life. Another annoying toddler armed with a slingshot to irritate audiences. This is not so much the child actor Adrián Alonso's fault, but rather that of poor writing. In defence of Alonso, it is important to note that even though his acting in The Legend of Zorro was tiresome and contrived, he did go on to deliver great performances in the indie dramas Innocent Voices and Under the Same Moon.
