10 Movie Sequels That Basically Wrote Themselves (But Never Happened)
6. Jumper 2
There are no rules that say the movies on this list have to be good, and make no mistake, Jumper is not a good movie.
With that being said, much like Master and Commander and unknown to most, the film is actually based on a series of books. This means there's a wealth of material left unexplored that could have been included in the sequel had the film been well received.
If the sequel had taken its cues from the books, it would have skipped ahead a few years, and introduced the main couple's daughter. This would give the story a new element of tension, particularly since in the film it would be the girl's grandmother who's pursuing them.
Seeing a family of Jumpers come together to take on the evil Paladins, and potentially lead a rebellion of people like them, could have made for a compelling story that built on the events of the original movie.
With the author having moved on after the failure of the film to adapt other projects, it's unlikely that the property will ever spawn a franchise.
