10 Movie Sequels You Didn’t Know Were Coming In 2017

There’s something kind of remarkable about the fact Underworld – a series that has received nothing but critical scorn – has reached five movies. That's all down to Kate Beckinsale, who looks quite fetching in leather while firing machine guns, but she also works hard to sell the stilted dialogue.

Part five – dubbed Blood Wars – follows on from Awakening, where Selene met her daughter for the first time and killed a bunch of people. Blood Wars has the werewolves leading an all out attack on the vampires again, and this time they want Selene’s blood for some reason. Charles Dance shows up to get paid, and there’s a bunch of gunfights.

Underworld has always been a guilty pleasure franchise, so if people enjoyed the previous entries they’ll probably have fun with this too. Beckinsale still looks cool, despite giving a distinct air of being ready to move on at this point.
