10 Movie Sequels You Have No Idea Were Just Released
8. The Next 365 Days
365 Days, the Polish erotic thriller adapted from Blanka Lipińska's novel of the same name, hit Netflix in 2020 and was a major hit on the platform in terms of viewing figures, no matter that critics panned it for its problematic depiction of a coercive relationship, earning it a rare 0% on Rotten Tomatoes.
Due to its popularity, critics be-damned, an adaptation of Lipińska's second novel, 365 Days: This Day, was released this past April, which also netted universal critical disdain.
Even so, it was another ratings hit for the streamer, and so most "fans" surely expected to wait another year or two for the inevitable conclusion to the trilogy, right?
Except Netflix quietly filmed the second and third movies back-to-back in the summer of 2021, and so released the threequel, The Next 365 Days, this past August - which pulled off the three-peat with another 0% on the Tomatometer.
And yet, per Netflix's traditional tendency to not massively promote their own releases, its first-week streaming numbers were barely half of the previous film, seemingly also indicating declining interest in the series.
