10 Movie Spoilers We Didn’t Know Last Week (May 3rd)

Rumours have persisted for quite some time that a younger version of Supreme Leader Snoke will appear in Star Wars: Rogue One, with many suspecting that the cloaked, faceless figure from the most recent trailer may in fact be the character.

Well, one of Lucasfilm's creative executives, Pablo Hidalgo, took to Twitter to dismantle the rumour from the get-go, saying, "Snoke is not in Rogue One. Like, in any way, shape or form. This is a standalone movie."

While it wouldn't be shocking for someone linked with the production to flat-out lie to fans to preserve a secret (namely that Snoke may have another identity before becoming who he is in The Force Awakens), Hidalgo seems pretty emphatic about his claim. We'll have to wait and see for ourselves...
