10 Movie Trailers That Ruled 2014

1. Guardians Of The Galaxy

No trailer stuck with audiences long after it has finished quite like this one. Guardians Of The Galaxy was always going to be the the biggest risk for the Marvel cinematic franchise so this trailer had to deliver a lot; introduce a new set of characters, set up the cosmic elements far beyond what audiences had seen in the Thor movies and, most importantly, make people eager to see the film. Judging by the film€™s success at the box office - and subsequent moving up of the sequel€™s release - it worked. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d96cjJhvlMA Ooga chaka, ooga ooga, ooga chaka, ooga ooga! Thanks to the use of Hooked On A Feeling in the trailer, this song was still playing in audiences€™s heads days after they had seen the trailer. It captured the sense of fun that the movie had in spades and the unconventional characters; parading them up in a prison line up; a raccoon, a tree, not to mention Chris Pratt in a role that was a mix of Han Solo and Indiana Jones. Here were some characters that intrigued potential audiences and made them want to watch more. The trailer for Guardians Of The Galaxy sold this movie; Star Wars meets Serenity meets Indiana Jones, it was unlike anything you 'd seen before! Do you agree with the list?
