10 Movie Trailers That Ruled 2014

5. Jurassic World

Everyone loves dinosaurs and everyone loves the first Jurassic Park. So much so that despite the second and third movies in the franchise growing less satisfying each time and the fourth one announced as a virtual reboot (the current Hollywood buzz word) fans are still excited to go back. With virtually none of the original characters returning, could Jurassic World recapture the magic of that first trip to Jurassic Park? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RFinNxS5KN4 The trailer plays on people€™s memory of that first iconic film in a big way, from the recreation of the dinsoaurs on the grassy plains of Isla Nublar to the opening of the mighty gates. But it also promises something fresh too, from the fully-functional park, complete with hundreds of potential victims, to the cross-gene experimentation to create a new breed of dinsoaur. The first film was a blend of action with moral debate and scientific research; the trailer for Jurassic World goes straight back to those ideas. Add in current Hollywood fav Chris Pratt in the lead, riding a motorcycle with raptors and audiences were sold. 2015 can't come soon enough!
