10 Movie Trailers That Don't Spoil ANYTHING

2. Tenet

When you're watching a Christopher Nolan film, you usually have to concentrate to figure out what the hell is going on. The scenes in Memento are shot in reverse-chronological order. The climax in Inception takes place in a dream within a dream within a dream within a dream. Interstellar centres around wormholes; a concept that the brightest minds in the world struggle to understand.

Because audiences are used to Nolan's mind-bending stories, we weren't surprised when the British director announced his latest work, Tenet, would be the craziest one yet. And when the trailer dropped, viewers were left stumped. No matter how many times they watched it, they didn't have a clue what was going on. We see characters spouting terminology that the average moviegoer has never heard of while the literal Protagonist performs the impossible.

However, this trailer wasn't vague by choice. The plot is so astronomically complex, it's impossible to condense the story into a three-minute teaser. Heck, if the trailer TRIED to spoil the story, viewers would still be scratching their heads. Many people who have seen the movie still aren't sure what they just saw.
