4. There's An X-Men TV Show In The Works, Apparently
Yup. Just when we thought there couldn't be anymore comic book movies or TV shows in development, it turns out that 20th Century Fox are currently working on a live-action X-Men TV series. That's literally about it for details, but it's rumoured that the series will link directly to the movie universe that Fox are currently putting together, which also includes the likes of the Fantastic Four and Deadpool (seriously). The news comes from a guy called Shawn Madden of website eatgeekplay.com, who revealed the news on Twitter. Here's what he had to say:
"Okay, since the cats out of the bag Fox is developing a TV show based on Peter Davids X-Factor. The X-Factor series will definitely feature Jamie Madrox and be sort of like Fringe in the X-Men world. Im going to be the first to label what I stated earlier as a rumor and will be first to admit if its wrong. Fingers crossed its right."
The X-Factor is not to be confused with the ITV talent-based television series of the same name, of course, though we can't deny that a mutant version of that show would be rather interesting.
